First entry

Today is another beautiful yet cold day in Idaho. It looks so inviting but is bone chilling. Paige seems to be the one who gets decieved most. Yesterday she just stood at the front window in her skirt and tanktop begging to go out like that, because it looks like it is "such a nice day morning" as she explains. Noah and I woke up this morning around 6am and like everymorning, have about 1.5 hours just to ourselves. It is a special time we share. He is bright eyed and bushy tailed and full of smiles when I first lay him on his changing table. I usually get some cleaning and organizing done and then it is time to feed and snuggle with him again. He is full of grunts and squirms as he tries to go in all directions as we hold him. He is 11lbs now and this morning I actually went through his clothes for the first time because he is way too small already. Little Miss Paige will be strolling out of bed with her curly hair 2ft high around 9am or so and slowly, all dressed and with a sly smile come and sit with me, only after she has kissed her baby brother good morning. Jamie of course is up and about in his wool sweater, doting on me, kissing me probably close to 15 times already this morning, and cooking a nice big breakfast.

Tonight we have off together, well I am off all the time since I am on Maternity leave, but he doesn't have class so we will be going bowling with our friends Nick and Nicole and Paige was telling me yesterday that she "can do it all by herself" Of course she can. I actually was the best at bowling I have ever been when I was pregnant with Noah, we will see how down hill I have gone since I am no longer prego.

This summer we are planning a trip to Lagoon with a bunch of my coworkers and friends from the ER, a trip to Montana to see my biological father and introduce him to the grandkids, do lots of camping trips and finally finish painting our house (a project that we started 2 summers ago...) Hopefully we will get our lawn looking full and green and I plan to basque in the sun like a lizard and play with the family. Come on sunshine! I am tired of the cold!

Jamie and I are running our first race together May 10th. That ought to be interesting since we really have not been training much and Jamie is not a runner at all, but he wants to and with my luck he will do much better than I. That would be fantastic because then he would be more apt to excersise with me. I would love that. So that is a new aspect in our relationship that I am really looking forward to see grow. He and I try to go out on a date a couple times a month, and we just made a pact not to eat out unless it is a good quality place that is fresh and worth our time and money. We broke that pact already but like I said...it is a new pact...

Looks like I am going to dye my hair again today and now I have just been summoned to trim Jamies hair...Until next time. God Bless
